Rainbow Bridge is one of the major tourist attractions in the capital city of Tokyo. I have walked on that bridge. There is no charge. There is a time limit on when you can walk through. I was strongly impressed by the wonderful view and walking on the huge architecture. It is also a great way to enjoy the sea breeze and a panoramic view of the big city. Odaiba, built at the end of the Edo period, can also be seen from above.
I found a new product at 7-Eleven in Japan. It’s mackerel sushi. I usually buy sandwiches and tuna onigiri, but this time they were out of them. I tried the mackerel sushi and it is delicious! It was also grilled and flavored, which made it tantalizingly good. It was a day that deepened my understanding of the high level of rice served at convenience stores.
A creature that looks like the inside of a shell swimming in the sea. It is a member of the nudibranch family. The flattened, thin body is the flatworm. This time I photographed a black flatworm with lighting. However, it was difficult to get it in focus. Because it was in the shade, there were waves, and it was black in color. I had a hard time. The focus is not so good, but please take a look.
A fish known as the “Ninja of the Sea.” It is very good at mimicry. It waits for small fish to feed at a place where there is a little current. Their fins are poisonous, so be careful not to touch them. The one shown here has a reddish tinge, but there are many others, including a whitish one and one that looks like a reef.
Once again, we introduced fish from the Marune ga Hama beach on Tokyo’s Shikinejima Island. It is a slightly dangerous place, but one can observe a great diversity of life. It is a place where we feel connected to the earth.
